What does the word “Probiz Resource” mean to our People?
Probiz stands for “Professional Business” as well as “Protect Business”. We are a “Resource” to our clients’ business as we customize resourceful ideas to our clients’ internal control systems and procedures instead of just focusing on traditional best practices that may not fit into our clients’ business models. To be useful “Resource” to our clients’ businesses, we need to have a very good understanding of their business environment both internally and externally before we can offer practical and beneficial solutions customized to the interests and needs of our clients.
Our Internal Audit Methodology
Probiz’s internal audit methodology is carefully designed along the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing set by The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the COSO Internal Control Integrated Framework.
We use our in-house developed Engagement Management and Quality Assurance Pack (“EMQAP”) to perform our audit. Our EMQAP functions as a quality assurance tool to provide a consistent and standard internal audit approach as well as a tool for the management of standard audit work-paper documentation and deliverables. It also functions as an engagement management tool to ensure efficient and effective project planning, management and reporting. It also helps us to manage our project team member’s accountability and facilitate communication between our engagement team and client to ensure minimum disruption to our client’s business operation.
Our User Oriented Reporting
Our draft internal audit findings are presented to the management at the exit meeting held on the last day of the fieldwork and our draft report are issued for management comment in the following week. All our findings are validated by the process owners and management before they are finalised for issuance to the audit committee and management. Our official reporting language is English Language. However, for China companies listed on SGX, our detail reports are translated into Chinese for the China directors.
